Terms and Conditions

The responsibilities of Friends Travel Group, as the tour operator or their agents are limited. Below are details of your and our obligations, Please read and understand them carefully.

 

Friends Travel Group, 246 Ashton Road, Oldham, OL8 1QN, UK acts only in making arrangements for airlines, hotels, buses or any other services in connection with HAJJ and UMRAH travel and assumes no liability whatsoever for injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect, through the acts or defaults of any company or person engaged in conveying passengers or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, or any natural disaster, dangerous incident in the air, sea, land, fire, breakdown of machinery or equipment, acts of government or other authorities de facto, wars, whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, theft, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, medical or custom regulations, or from improper passports or other documents.

When you make a booking you guarantee that you have the authority to accept on behalf of all members of your party the terms of these booking conditions.

Visa

Our visa application service allows us to apply, on your behalf, for visas to Saudi Arabia. We are unable to guarantee the granting of any visa and consequently accept no liability whatsoever for any refusal or delay in obtaining a visa.

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your booking, the person who signed the booking form must notify Friends Travel Group in writing as soon as possible. All cancellation must be in writing.

 

Unused Services

No refund, reduction or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services which are included in the tour fares, but not utilized by the passenger for any reasons whatsoever.

If You Have a Complaint

If you have cause for complaint whilst on your pilgrimage, this must be brought to the attention of the Friends Travel's local appointed representative/agent or the hotel management or other supplier immediately so that action can be taken to remedy the problem. Should your representative/agent or the hotel management be unable to resolve the problem, please contact Friends Travel in the UK immediately.  If you fail to follow this simple procedure, we will have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and rectify your complaint whilst you were on pilgrimage and this will affect your rights under this contract.

Behaviour

If in our reasonable opinion or in the reasonable opinion of any airline pilot, hotel manager, tour leader or other person in authority, your behaviour is causing danger, damage to property or persistently affecting  others, we reserve the right to terminate your pilgrimage. Should this happen no refund or compensation would be paid. If your behaviour results in Friends Travel Group being forced to pay additional charges, Friends Travel Group will seek to recover them in full from you.

General Information

Please check your tickets, vaccination certificates, accommodation vouchers, passport, visa or anything else which might prevent you from being allowed to travel. You must notify our travel agent or Friends Travel Group immediately if you think any information is incorrect. Friends Travel Group will not be responsible for any problems, which may arise in the event that you failed to notify us.
